 Overview of the Western Regional Medical Command

Speaker: Maj. General Richard Thomas, Commanding General of the Western Regional Medical Command and Chief of the U.S. Army Medical Corps

             
Maj. Gen. Richard Thomas, M.D., D.D.S, FACS, is the commanding general of the Western Regional Medical Command and Chief of the U.S. Army Medical Corps. He oversees a 20-state region and has command oversight of 11 Military Treatment Facilities in the region, including Madigan Army Medical Center. The region's headquarters is located at JBLM.

Presentation Topic:  An overview of the Western Regional Medical Command and MG Thomas' command mission of overseeing the healthcare delivery process for nearly 400,000 Service members, Retirees and their Family members.

-Greg Mowat, the Chamber’s Vet & Business Specialist will review the current Chamber activities to encourage, enable, and support Chamber member businesses seeking to provide employment for Veterans, Military spouses,  and members of the Guard & Reserve.
-Mike Tassin, Operation Good Jobs will talk about successes of this highly effective program supporting Veterans in obtaining great employment opportunities.
-Workforce Central will provide information about upcoming plans to bring employers and Veterans together to showcase opportunities for employment
