Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus and Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Jonathan Greenert announced today the following assignment:
Rear Adm. (lower half) Douglas J. Asbjornsen will be assigned as reserve deputy commander, Navy Region Northwest, Bangor, Wash. Asbjornsen is currently serving as reserve deputy commander, Naval Mine and Anti-Submarine Warfare Command, San Diego, Calif.
